Choi Iyeon is the star student at Seoul Gwanak University and a dominant Alpha. On the surface, he is kind and gentle. In truth, he is arrogant and convinced that everyone around him is a fool. Loved by others his entire life, he has never truly loved anyone in return. Charming and toxic in equal measure, he is used to manipulating people and bending them to his will. But Park Woori is the one person who refuses to play along. Park Woori is the illegitimate son of Irae Financial Lending and a Beta. He has spent his whole life trying to prove his worth to his father and his half-brother while enduring their abuse. Proud yet painfully insecure, he reacts fiercely whenever someone looks down on him. Socially awkward, blunt, and inexperienced in love, his life turns upside down when he unexpectedly manifests as a heat Omega in front of Iyeon. Two people who cannot stand each other are drawn into a dangerous push and pull. As resentment gives way to obsession, their growing feelings threaten to consume them both. And what burns this fiercely is bound to fall apart.
